Roberta Horowitz

Originally from Long Island, Roberta has lived in Westchester County since 1982 and in Mount Kisco since 1987. With degrees in Textile Design and Fashion Buying and
Merchandising, Roberta worked for several years in the garment industry in New York
City, designing fabrics for home furnishings. After her children were born, Roberta
switched to retail sales of those fabrics to work closer to home. In addition, Roberta also
provided faux finishing and interior design services.

Roberta first volunteered at the Food Pantry in 2004, through Bet Torah Synagogue,
when the Pantry operated at the Mount Kisco Boys & Girls Club. She later joined the Pantry as a staff member in the role of Operations Manager in 2011, advanced to Director of Operations and Programs, and currently serves as Director of Programs and Volunteers. 

Roberta has two children and four grandchildren and is very active with her family.
