Hunger Awareness Week Events and Programs
Our annual Hunger Awareness Week will bring together local businesses, schools, congregations, and social organizations in an effort to raise awareness and funds to combat hunger in our neighborhoods.
September 22. The Pantry will have an information table at the John Jay Homestead Farm Market in Katonah. 10am-2pm.
September 23. Laps for Lunches. Families are invited to a morning of fun and a kids fun run! Rippowam Cisqua School, located at 439 Cantitoe Street in Bedford, New York. Join us for a morning filled with family fun starting at 10am—with face painting, fun tattoos, balloon artistry, all while the children walk or run laps to benefit the Food Pantry. Families and children are welcome to solicit sponsorships for each lap completed. Bring your sponsorship forms with you. Our children's laps will begin at 10:15am. Link to: Sponsor form
September 23. Food Drives. Local congregations will hold targeted food drives.
September 25. 10% Tuesday! Local restaurants will offer special discounts on meals and merchandise.
September 25. Sparkle for a Cause Fundraiser! Join us at Crabtree's Kittle House, Amy's Garden, for a delightful night of great food and sparkling drinks! 30% of the proceeds go to the Pantry!
September 7, 14, 21, and 28. Mt. Kisco Seafood special $5 for 5. Every Friday in September!
September 29. Food Drives at our local markets, 10am to 2pm—ShopRite of Bedford Hills, Stop&Shop of Mt. Kisco, and DeCicco and Sons, Armonk.
